How do I know if my BMW i8 I12 is affected?
Each campaign affects only a specific build period or certain VINs. The manufacturer usually writes to owners, but if you bought the car second-hand or have moved, the letter may not reach you: ask at any official service centre of the brand with the vehicle identification number (VIN), which appears on the registration document and in the technical data sheet. Recalls are free of charge.
