Is the Renault-Nissan CMF-EV (Mégane E-Tech, Ariya) reliable?

The CMF-EV platform has a short track record and little data: on the Nissan Ariya, the documented problems are two recalls of the traction motor (metal shavings on the slip rings and an oil leak from the seal), both on 2022 and 2023 units. On the Mégane E-Tech there are only owner reports, mostly about charging, and a 2025 campaign concerning a connector in the battery cooling circuit.[1][2][3][4]
