Is the CVT Jatco JF011E gearbox reliable?

The Jatco JF011E CVT (Nissan’s Xtronic, Renault’s X-Tronic, Mitsubishi’s INVECS-III) has weak points well described by workshops and the technical press: wear of the pump and its valves, bearings that hum and, according to some sources, the belt and pulleys. Nissan fixed a possible belt slip in the first-generation Qashqai and X-Trail with software.[1][2][3][4]

Is the Opel M32 gearbox reliable?

The M32 is the six-speed manual gearbox that Opel fitted from 2004 to the Astra, Zafira, Corsa D, Meriva, Insignia, Vectra C, Mokka and Cascada. Its documented weak point is the bearings: the German press calls it "well known" for this and owners describe whistling in 5th and 6th before failure. The redesigns of 2012-2014 improved it, but did not fully cure it.[5][6][7][8][9]
