Campaign 0EUB: rear-hinged door latches
Kangoos built between 15 May 2020 and 16 May 2025 with rear-hinged doors. Safety Gate: alert 35/2025 (SR/03092/25), published on 29 August 2025 and classed as serious. DVSA (UK): R/2025/254, 15,240 vehicles; the preventive measure is to add covers over the upper latches of the two rear doors.[4][11]

Renault Captur, Symbioz, Austral, Espace, Mégane E-Tech and Scénic E-Tech built between April and mid-October 2024, with the openR link system with Google in 10.4 or 12-inch versions (135,000 vehicles). The update is downloaded by the car itself; if it fails, the car must go to a workshop.[15]

Campaign 0EKL: rear door hinges
Kangoos built between 18 and 29 October 2024 (18 vehicles in the UK, DVSA R/2025/032): conformity of the four rear door hinges, where a missing pin cannot be ruled out. Remedy: inspect the hinges and replace them if necessary.[4]
