KV9 campaign (KBA 16277R): electric power steering wiring harness

Opel Frontera built from 11 March to 21 May 2025: 11,389 units worldwide and 2,884 in Germany according to Gebrauchtwagenberater; 376 in Austria according to ÖAMTC. The electric power steering wiring harness is inspected and rerouted with additional protection.^[2][3][4]

KV7 campaign: 48 V alternator-starter cap

Frontera (and, according to the Safety Gate notice, Corsa and Mokka) built from 30 July 2024 to 22 December 2025: 2,057 vehicles in the United Kingdom according to the DVSA. The terminal protective cap of the 48 V alternator-starter is replaced and the distance from the particulate filter pipe is checked.^[5][6]

KVU campaign (KBA 16270R): front camera software

Opel Frontera built from 7 January to 23 October 2025: 10,167 units according to the KBA and 101 in the United Kingdom according to the DVSA. The software of the body control unit and the front camera module is updated. The same campaign covers the Citroën C3 (KBA 16171R) and C3 Aircross (16273R).^[6][7]

Opel Vectra C

Front airbag recall for possible structural deterioration

Opel Vectra C cars built between 22 June 2005 and 10 October 2008 in which the front airbag structure may deteriorate; if it deploys, fragments of the gas generator may break off and injure the occupants.^[8]

Opel Grandland I

Extension of the suspension ball joint campaign to more than 32,000 vehicles (Peugeot 3008, 5008 and Opel Grandland)

According to Caradisiac, Opel Grandlands assembled between 8 May 2024 and 27 February 2025 (together with the Peugeot 3008 from 24 July 2023 and the Peugeot 5008 from 15 March 2024), over the risk of the front suspension ball joint bolts breaking with loss of steering response; more than 32,300 vehicles in France.^[9]

KVA campaign: brake pedal bracket

Frontera built from 3 September to 2 November 2025: 2,380 vehicles in the United Kingdom according to the DVSA. The pedal bracket joint is checked and redone if necessary. We have not confirmed how it was applied in Spain.^[6]

Vivaro, Vivaro Life, Vivaro-e Hydrogen and Zafira Life built between 23 September 2020 and 30 June 2022. Safety Gate: alert 37/2025 (SR/03235/25 and SR/03236/25), 76,778 vehicles worldwide, classed as serious. DVSA (United Kingdom): R/2025/309, ref. KN4-221097EE, 29,927 vehicles; remedy: replace the front arm bolts and bushes on both sides.^[6][10]

Opel/Vauxhall Frontera built from 10 June to 2 August 2025: 388 vehicles according to the KBA (figure cited by car-recalls.eu) and 353 in the United Kingdom according to the DVSA. According to the KBA, the brake pedal housing is replaced at an authorised workshop.^[6][11]
