Is the 1.5 BlueHDi reliable?

The 1.5 BlueHDi has a serious weak point in engines built from October 2017 to January 2023: the 7 mm chain linking the camshafts can stretch and break. Stellantis has recalled them and covers this fault for 10 years or 240,000 km; engines built up to August 2020 can also suffer AdBlue tank failures, with partial compensation from the manufacturer.[1][2][3][4]

Is the 2.2 MultiJet / BlueHDi (Stellantis) reliable?

The 2.2 diesels of Stellantis's large vans (BlueHDi DW12 in the Boxer, Jumper and Movano; Multijet 3 in the Ducato) are recent engines with no fault statistics of their own. What is documented are campaigns: AdBlue and SCR software, and the fuel return pipe on 2024-2025 units, with a fire risk. Long-term history is missing.[5][6][7][8][9]
