Is the 1.4 / 1.6 16v E-TEC II reliable?

The 1.4 and 1.6 16v GM Daewoo E-TEC II (first-generation Lacetti/Optra and Aveo) have a timing belt and, according to the Polish press, a moderate fault record. Documented issues are faulty valves in the first units (2004-2005), lambda sensor faults and a few cases of oil leaks or oil consumption.[1][2][3]

Is the Porsche V8 and V6 (Cayenne and Panamera) reliable?

There are no public failure statistics for these engines. The sources agree on three points: the plastic coolant pipes of the first Cayenne V8s, cylinder bore scoring in the naturally aspirated 4.5, and the timing chain of the VR6 V6s. On the 4.8 and the Panamera, the camshaft adjuster bolts (a 2012 workshop campaign) and leaks weigh more.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
